"Here’s a quick guide to the nuts and bolts of government in our region. Come to think of it, maybe it’s not so quick. For instance, Philadelphia’s divided into 66 wards – and those wards are divided into more than 1600 divisions (each with its own polling place). What ward are you in, and where do you go to vote? You can find it here. And what district do you live in? Is that for the U.S. Congress? The state House and Senate? Philly’s City Council? They’re all different. You can find those here, too, along with the names of elected officeholders and party ward leaders. If you want to run for office yourself, there’s a guide for that, as well."
